Over looking the strip to the north, at the view you are also looking back at the approach.
The Beaver Pond Strip at about 30' wide and 1500' long the requires a medium off-airport skill level. Just to the east of the gravel strip, it is a bit smoother with a more moss covered surface. After the first 600' there is a large depression that runs the center of the gravel strip. This strip can also be a great spot for training and take a break or to go for a walk and see if you can see any beaver in the ponds. In the spring it is common to see mountain goat on the cliffs just north off the end of the strip.
